Cell biology is the intense study of structure, composition, physiology and functioning of cells which is the most fundamental unit of any living organism. This understanding of cellular components and their functioning forms the basic for all biological sciences. Cell Biology deeply understands and analyzes the physiological processes, lifecycle, chemical properties, metabolism, and interactions between cells and environment. These studies are performed on both bacteria-like organisms that are single-celled, and on humans or animals that are multi-cellular. Cell biology involves research in microscopic or molecular levels. It is an integral part of biomedical fields studying diseases like cancer.
