Lovelace Biomedical Welcomes New Scientific Advisor and Infectious Disease Program Fellow Chad J. Roy
Lovelace Biomedical is proud to announce and welcome the addition of Tulane Professor Dr. Chad J. Roy as Lovelace Fellow. In that capacity, Dr. Roy will work our scientific team to expand existing collaborations to capitalize and expand capabilities in infectious disease. For over 20 years Dr. Roy has been a pioneer in the area of aerobiology and animal modeling to help support infectious disease animal model development.
“This is a natural evolution of the collaborations and scientific interaction I have been developing with Lovelace over the past ten years”, indicates Dr. Roy.
As a Lovelace Fellow, he will have a scientific appointment, will participate in strategic initiatives and pilot research programs, and will serve as co-investigator on programs.
“We are proud to formalize our relationship with Chad. He has established himself in infectious disease research, and his vision of how we can collaborate and he can help build our program is aligned with our goals for the Institute. We are proud to formalize our ongoing collaboration”, Dr. Jake McDonald says, Site Director for Lovelace Biomedical.
