Lovelace Biomedical Operations During the Coronavirus Pandemic
Our Contingency Plans and Working During the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak
As many have companies have prepared and set in motion their own contingency plans during the Coronavirus pandemic, Senior Leadership and our Board of Directors have also actively set forth policy at Lovelace Biomedical.
Please be assured that we have put in safeguards and preventative measures at our own facilities, by using tactics such as social distancing, and allowing some employees to work from home, in order to maintain operations during this critical time. We are paying close attention to such agencies like the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and are adhering to their guidance and suggestions.
After careful consideration, we have also decided to suspend outside visitation, so as to not affect the integrity of our current ongoing studies and our overall operations. We will continue to suspend visitation to our campus indefinitely. Thereafter, we will reassess the situation based on the guidance from the World Health Organization, and also the Center for Disease Control.
Like many others, we are also taking internal precautions by restricting our own employee travel, and are committed to communicating in other ways, including video conferencing. We are always available by phone, email, and other normal means of communication.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we all navigate this challenging health crisis.
